French Macarons – Beginner – 3 hours – $100.00 Enjoy a two-hour French Macaron Class with Pastry Chef Mark Soliday. French macarons are simply delicious but quite tricky to make. This is a ‘hands on’ class, each student will learn how to make the batter, work on the baking techniques and create different types of fillings. Off course, you will finish with a box of beautiful macarons to take home and share!
Mark Soliday: Following Mark’s graduation from The Culinary Institute of America in 1991, his career excelled within the structure of Four Star and Five Diamond hotel chains such as The Ritz-Carlton Hotels and The Four Seasons Hotel Company. This vast experience allowed him to work throughout the US and Europe. Chef Soliday is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef. He is extremely passionate about his work and is dedicated to quality of product he provides. Along with Confectionery Designs, Mark is a Pastry Arts Instructor at Johnson & Wales University since 2002 where he continues to inspire the future pastry generation.
– Required minimum for classes will be 6 students.
– Additional dates will be added if there is an overflow.
– Required ages 18 and older unless otherwise noted.
– No spectators.
– All classes are held at our Rehoboth Pastry Shop, 462 Winthrop St, Rehoboth, MA 02769.
– All classes require full pre-payment.
